WODEMAX Warranty Policy

1. Scope of Application

This Warranty Policy applies to all products manufactured and sold by WODE, including but not limited to barcode scanners, thermal printers, cash drawers, POS terminals, and related products, unless otherwise agreed in writing by both parties.

For OEM/ODM products, if a separate warranty agreement has been signed, such agreement shall prevail.

2. Warranty Period

WODE provides:

• 12-Month Warranty + 1-Month Grace Period

The warranty period starts from the product manufacturing date (based on the product serial number).

The additional one-month grace period is intended to offset transportation and customs clearance time, ensuring customers receive a full year of effective warranty coverage.

3. Warranty Coverage

During the warranty period, WODE will provide free repair services or replacement parts for failures caused by product quality issues.

Coverage includes:
• Manufacturing defects
• Material defects
• Design or production quality issues
• Product failures under normal operating conditions

WODE reserves the right to determine the appropriate corrective action, including repair or replacement of parts.

4. Exclusions from Warranty Coverage

The following situations are not covered:
• Improper installation, operation, or use
• Damage caused by misuse, negligence, or accidents
• Unauthorized disassembly, repair, modification, or alteration
• Damage caused by dropping, impact, or external force
• Damage caused by water ingress, moisture, or corrosion
• Damage caused by abnormal voltage, unstable power supply, or non-compliant power equipment
• Damage caused by force majeure events such as fire, flood, lightning, or earthquake
• Normal wear and aging
• Consumable parts and wear items
• Damage occurring during transportation arranged by the buyer

Damage determined by WODE to be caused by human factors is not eligible for free warranty service.

5. Warranty Claim Procedure

To apply for warranty service, customers should provide:
• Order number
• Product model
• Quantity affected
• Detailed description of the issue
• Photos or videos showing the defect
• Product serial number (if applicable)

WODE may request additional information when necessary to facilitate accurate analysis and resolution.

6. Freight Responsibility

Unless otherwise agreed in writing:
• Shipping costs for returning and resending warranty parts may be shared by both parties based on actual circumstances.
• For parts that can be replaced by customers, WODE may send replacement parts directly without requiring the return of defective parts.

7. Repair and Replacement Policy

After confirmation that the issue falls within warranty coverage, WODE may provide one or more of the following solutions:
• Technical support and troubleshooting
• Free replacement parts
• Repair of defective products
• Replacement with the same model
• Replacement with an equivalent or upgraded product

The final solution will be determined by WODE based on the actual situation.

8. Warranty Validity

This warranty applies only to products purchased directly from WODE or its authorized distributors.

All warranty claims must be submitted within the warranty period (13 months). Claims submitted after the warranty period will not be eligible for free warranty service.

9. Dead on Arrival (DOA) Policy

If a product is found to be unusable due to a manufacturing defect within 30 days after receipt, and the issue is confirmed by WODE, WODE will provide free repair service or replacement parts.
